Calling Baby-becks And Mini-maddys
January 15, 2001 15:29: BUDDING musicians and pop stars eager to become big hits in the music world have got the chance to move closer to their dreams.
Bromley College is starting a brand new rock and pop music course this month and there is one final opportunity for would-be popsters, between 16 and 30, to get a place on the two-year foundation course.
Students will be taught song composition, recording techniques, instrumental tuition and will play regularly in high profile regional and national concerts.
The open audition and information day is on January 25 from noon to 5pm at The Studio, Beckenham Road, Beckenham.
Any mini-Madonnas or baby Becks, can call 0800 281 842 for more details or just do the rock and roll thing and turn up on the day. Musicians should bring their instruments and have two songs prepared. Drum kits, amps and mics will be provided.
